Hi all!

Its time to bring back a VATSIM UK classic with Farnborough Friday on 22 July! Break out your Cherokees to fly VFR outside controlled airspace under the London TMA, or fly some instrument approaches (including SRAs) into Farnborough itself!

Farnborough Radar [EGLF_APP] will be staffed, bandboxing the approach and full LARS facilities available.

How can I take advantage of this?

  • Fly outside of controlled airspace within the red, green, or blue region (see image below).
  • LARS is available to VFR and IFR traffic, up to around FL100.
  • Fly into Farnborough and/or its controlled airspace.

Where can I find information for my flight?

LARS Areas

Note: On VATSIM, all LARS areas are covered on 134.350.

Requested ATC

To help boost traffic, we are requesting the following adjacent ATC positions:

  • Neighbouring LARS units (Bournemouth, Southend, Brize, etc)
  • Nearby aerodrome units (Fairoaks, Goodwood, Blackbushe, etc)
