Saturday Le Mans Fly In

Hi,

It's been a long time since we had a VFR group flight anywhere. This weekend is the Le Mans 24 and the weather's looking nice and I seem to recall there's a fair overlap between those on previous VFR group flights and those that like motor racing so it seemed like a good excuse for a fly in.

Anyone interested therefore in a flight from Headcorn (EGKH) to Le Mans (LFRM) Saturday afternoon. If we left 1200Z we'd arrive around 1400Z (crusing 125 TAS) which should be just in time for the start.

Still working on a route but thinking roughly DVR - Cap Gris Nez - LFAT - DPE - LGL

So the "nice weather" is turning into a bit of a thunderstorm fest. Suspect we'll end up using custom weather to clear the storms (remember, real world temp/pressure/winds are required and I think we'll be OK with real world cloud bases).

Route basically as described. 3500 over the channel, 2500 once in France.
