This handbook outlines Training Department policy, and the standard administrative procedures to be followed by staff, mentors, examiners, and students involved with ATC training within VATSIM UK. It is not a contract, and will not create contractual obligations, of any kind, for the division or its members.

Released

Distribution and Scope, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 5.3, 6.3, 7.3 – updated to reflect new global senior management structure.

3.2 – updated organisation diagram to include the VP EMEA (VATGOV4), and to add network callsigns for members of Division Staff.

3.3.1 – added the VP EMEA’s position duties.

3.3.2 – removed reference to the Deputy Division Director.

3.3.5 & 3.3.6 – clarified interaction of DIs & TGIs with the Operations department.

4.16.3.1 – added activity requirements for Heathrow endorsement training.

4.2 – removed reference to old TGs.

4.3 – clarified removal of training places following disciplinary action and added explicit reference to the Training Director’s right to refuse training.
