VATSIM UK Operations Posted December 3, 2023 Share Posted December 3, 2023 Introduced in 3.2.1.27, EuroScope added the ability to segregate the combined departure list based on ground status. This gives a somewhat more realistic view, where strips are only displayed to ADC controllers at appropriate times as the aircraft flows from the stand to runway. Compared to more sophisticated solutions, the EuroScope version remains more limited, however, it stands to improve aerodrome controller situational awareness, alongside promoting the proactive use of the ground status field. The configured lists and associated settings files are included from the 2023/13 version of the UK Controller Pack. All controllers are advised to begin using the new lists when controlling at ADC level. The area and APC screens remain using the combined departure list for simplicity. Users can select their preferred list by using the QUICK SET menu. If you think the configured lists could be improved, we invite you to contribute to the controller pack repository on GitHub. Below is a preview of the new lists and how they should be utilised. Each list can either be hidden using the QUICK SET menu or collapsed using the arrow in the list title bar. If you are covering GMP, for example, you will only require the startup list to be displayed. Ray Benitez Posted January 4 Share Posted January 4 (edited) On the STS column, right and left click are both configured to "open advanced ground status popup list". This function displays a short list of just the valid next statuses, which change depending on the current status. Usually, this works fine. But if you accidentally click e.g. Taxi on the wrong aircraft, there is no way to select Push status to revert it. Maybe STS right click could be configured to "open ground status popup list" (as opposed to "advanced") which I think is what previous UKCPs used.
