⚠️Controllers must ensure they have updated both their Sector File to 2023/11 and the controller pack voice settings.

With the conclusion of the 8.33 trial, the 2023/11 AIRAC (November 2nd at 2100Z) will see us transition ALL remaining UK frequencies to 8.33 spacing where realistic to do so. Because of limitations of VATSIM and the occasional need to deconflict frequencies, there will be the occasional frequency that differs from the AIP/charts, however this will be rare. Changes will be reflected in the 2023/11 sector file, controller pack and AFV configuration; however it will be more slowly rolled out through the rest of our documentation. Where a frequency discrepancy exists between documentation in this interim period, the sector file will remain the most accurate resource.

Documentation Status

8.33 frequencies will begin to be updated in documentation released from November 2nd onwards. This notice will remain visible until all documentation is updated.
