I am writing to inform you that Adam Farquharson is leaving his role as ATC Training Director. Adam has recently been awarded a place on a highly competative course which will hopefully result in a new career in the aviation industry. Naturally, this will take over a huge amount of Adam's time, so it has been agreed that he will leave his role.

Adam has held this role for the last couple of years and has worked with the team to develop training programmes across several ratings to provide structure and consistency especially in the early phases of training of the rating. In addition, he has tackled a number of challenges but also prepared the Training Department for a number of positive changes in the future such as the rollout of GCAP in the UK.

I would like to thank Adam for his contributions in this role and his previous roles in the ATC Training team. The next years will be a challenge, no doubt, but I am confident he will make the best of this opportunity.

The DSG thank Adam for the time he has spent in this role and wish him luck for the future.
