Training Department Changes

Folks,

With the departure of Andy Ford as ATC Training Director, I am making some changes to the way training is organised in the UK.

I am delighted to announce that Daniel Crookes will take on the role of Director of Training and will have ultimate responsibility for both ATC and Pilot Training.  Dan will appoint a General Manager of ATC Training and the same for Pilot Training.

Dan will assume responsibility for both departments with immediate effect.  While we finalise the structure for both teams, Alex Beard will continue to manage the day to day running of ATC Training and Dan will continue for the PTD.

This is obviously a big change for training in the Division but I am confident that we will continue the excellent progress that Andy and Dan have made in both departments.

Nick, Dan will always be a PTD man at heart. We don' see this as Dan moving to ATC, more like ATC moving to Dan. Suffice to say it's an excellent appointment and he will continue to have my support.
