Bon Soir!
I would like you all to join me in welcoming @Matthew Wilson back to the Pilot Training Department Staff team in his role as Pilot Administrative Manager. @James Gibson will be vacating this role into his new role of Development Flight Instructor, a new role in the department.
Why do we need more people? The VATSIM UK Pilot Training Department is currently training over 40 students with 103 people waiting for training, therefore we are developing new ways of speeding up training whilst retaining our high pass rate. This requires more manpower!
Unfortunately, @John Livesey will be leaving his current role as Initial Flight Instructor and the Department due to his commitments outside of VATSIM. John has been a pleasure to work with over the past year and has continued to grow the P1 course. The entire team would like to thank John for his work in the department and most importantly, for being the 'class clown' ?, @Lewis Hammett sure has some slack to pick up now ?.
The Role of Initial Flight Instructor will be advertised in the coming week.
