Pilot Training Fast Track Schemes

Hold any real-world pilot license? If so, see below and you could be eligible for our Fast Track scheme's which can take you all the way from 'nothing to everything'!

Over the past year or so I have been approached several times by members of the community asking if we offer any 'fast track' schemes for members who hold real-world pilot licenses, i.e. PPL (A), CPL (A) and ATPL, and in the past, we haven't. However, the question we've been asking ourselves is, if the CAA or FAA is willing to let you loose in the skies above our heads, why should you have to sit through hours of mentoring sessions? And my answer is, well, you shouldn't have to. So, we thought it was time to officially endorse a Fast Track scheme for people who hold real-world licenses.

Before signing up to any of the schemes please be aware of the following. We obviously have no way of checking the legitimacy of a claim to hold any of the license or ratings listed below, however,  it is very evident to us if you have the acclaimed real-world experience. In the event that you sign up to one of our schemes and it becomes evident that the knowledge and experience is not there, you will be offered the opportunity to be placed on our training lists.

Does that mean people with real-world licenses are at an advantage to those who do not hold a license? Absoublty not! We are simply doing this to provide those who have completed the equivalent training in the real world with a means to be acknowledged, with the hope that this encourages more experienced members of the network into Pilot Training, providing those in training with the best possible resources for their training. The best part... its free.

Please see below a list of details for your fast track schemes, if you are eligible and would like to join a fast track scheme, please let us know via our Helpdesk system here.

Daft question here - what do the pilot schemes actually give you in return after completing them? Is there a benefit to having them?

We hope that after people have completed their exam with us they will have a go at mentoring and see how they get on with it. At the end of the day, people can either do their exam and then we never hear back from them or they can give something back and share their experience with the members, which increases our resources as a department so we can give more people the opportunity to train. ?

Do holders of  CAA PPL, IMC rating and Night Rating pre EASA (all still valid qualifications,) qualify for fast track? I can understand passing a certificate of proficiency type practical exam but why the need to pass three(?) theory exams whilst already having passed eight or more theory exams to qualify real world?

Hi Jim pre-EASA is fine and would still be eligible for fast track, I just stated EASA because it is the European standard and the most common type of private or professional  license ?
