Gatwick ADC Endorsement Syllabus

Changes to Waiting Lists

Hi all, As part of our effort to speed up training and make training more efficient, we are changing the way training places are allocated. As of now we will be requiring students to have at least 12 hours in the last 3 months on UK ATC positions to show activity on the network. We have been seeing students that have been inactive/away for extended periods of time and then returning when offered a training place. Although this is great to see, it means that active students are then demotiva

Deferred ATC Training Places

Hi all, So that we can ensure fairness for newer students, we recently introduced a two year limit for training place deferrals, set-out in section 4.6 of our ATC Training Handbook. Every student with a deferred place has been informed of this by email - if you expect to be on a deferred list and haven't received an email, please get in touch with the Member Services team. Training Place Eligibility Update

Hi All, This weekend, there have been a number changes to staff in the ATC Training Department. Due to real world commitments, Gregg Donohoe has stepped down from his role at Division Instructor. TG New Controller Update

Returning Mentors: An Exercise In Trust

Training Aerodrome Preferences

ATC Rating Progression: The Story So Far

Reciprocating Effort

The re-drafting of the training syllabus has brought with it an encouragement for students to learn on their own, by designating significant portions as self-taught. That is, the student is expected to read the material on their own and bring any questions to sessions, not expect to have it spoon-fed to them by mentors.
