Summary

The Heathrow Tower backup frequency is being converted to an 8.33 channel. We allocate this frequency for use as Heathrow Planner, therefore:

• Heathrow Planner (EGLL_P_GND) 124.475 becomes 124.480

Required Actions by Controllers

Controllers are required to update their Sector File, Controller Pack and ATIS profiles to ensure correct recognition in EuroScope and radio coverage in AFV.

Audio For VATSIM will be updated by the Operations Department on AIRAC day to reflect the new frequencies.

Documentation Status

The London Heathrow (EGLL) vMATS Part 2 and any other affected documentation will be updated at its next release.
