event [3rd July 2025] Lights Out at Silverstone

On the 3rd of July, ahead of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix, VATSIM UK controllers will be staffing up the airports at and around the famous circuit! Fancy getting up close to the action? Bring your helicopter to the temporary heliport at the track (EGBV). Or why not fly in the VIPs, team members and drivers to Oxford (EGTK)? Turweston (EGBT), the gateway to the British Grand Prix, will also be staffed for your general aviation needs. 

A brief for pilots will be published closer to the time to explain the specific procedures for the day.
