active 2024-10-03 - Cambridge (EGSC) - Removal of Radar Positions and the Grass Runway

Effective 3rd October 2024

Cambridge airport no longer has any radar positions and both Radar (EGSC_APP) and Director (EGSC_F_APP) have been replaced with Approach (EGSC_A_APP).

Traffic inbound from Stansted Radar must be transfered on own navigation to the Cambridge NDB or an appropriate RNAV fix. Stansted INT controllers covering Cambridge top down may elect to use the Stansteds own radar to control traffic at Cambridge.

Addtionally, the grass runway (05G/23G) has been removed
