active 2024-07-11 - Brize Norton (EGVN) - Changes to local SSR procedures and transition to 8.33 kHz spacing

From the effective date, Brize Norton has transitioned to 8.33 kHz frequency. The following frequencies have changed:

 

• EGVN_ATIS - 120.505
• EGVN_GND - 121.730
• EGVN_TWR - 123.730
• EGVN_APP - 127.255
• EGVN_Z_APP - 119.005
• EGVN_F_APP - 133.755
• EGVN_P_APP - 123.555
• EGVN_L_APP - 124.280

 

 

 

Local SSR Code Procedures

 

Local SSR allocations have also changed this AIRAC.

Brize Zone is now allocated 3701 and 3707. (3707 can be used as a conspicuity squawk for RAF Brize Norton Flying Club)

Brize Radar is allocated 3710 - 3726

3730 - 3736 are used for outbound traffic and 3740-3745 used for arrivals by Brize Approach and Director.
