2024-06-13 - Gatwick (EGKK) - Change to ATC Sector Minimum Altitude

Effective 13th June 2024

A new ATC Sector Minimum Altitude Area (SMA) Area is established. SMA Area ‘C’ is defined as a circle centred on 511038.93N 0002230.29W (approximately 8NM west of the airfield) with a radius of 3.2NM, and has a base altitude of 2100ft. This area will be added to the SMAA depiction in the Sector File at its next release.

Additionally, the SMA to the South-West outside the SMA Area but within 25NM of the airfield is raised from 2000ft to 2100ft.

Documentation Status
The Gatwick (EGKK) vMATS Part 2 will be amended at its next revision.
