New Feedback System

Folks

I am delighted to announce that we have developed a new feedback system.
The new system is built within Core and will allow you to give feedback, positive or negative, to UK based controllers. Feedback for pilots will follow shortly.

The feedback that is submitted will be used in three ways...

  1. Review our training program based on trends identified in feedback that has been submitted.
  2. Pass on positive feedback directly to members.
  3. Ensure members with consistently positive feedback are recognised through the Community Points scheme.

Your feedback will be visible to the following...

  1. Members of the DSG
  2. The Operations Manager

Members wishing to leave feedback should login to Core via https://core.vatsim.uk/ and then navigate to the “Controller Feedback” link under "Community >> Community Features".You will then be presented with the feedback form.

The questions will likely change in the coming weeks as we review the feedback that comes in. We would, ironically, welcome any feedback on the new feedback system.
For now though, it looks something like this!

I would like to thank Alex Toff who pulled this together, along with the Web Team and those who tested the system prior to its release.

Could it be optional to enter CID or Name? I can't think of an easy way to get CID other than vatspy, and on vpilot its easy to open a chat dialogue and see their name.

You can find the CID on https://stats.vatsim.net/search_name.php?name=Name+Surname

Just replace Name with the Name of the Controller and Surname with the Surname of the controller.

Could we redirect the old feedback short link to the new site?

Thanks for this suggestion James, I will look into incorporating some kind of name/CID search facility into the form to make it easier to find the member.

If the feedback is about a certain member, shouldn't it be directed to them so they can either improve or feel happy that they did a 'good job'?

It's also nice to have a personal touch (for positive feedback anyway) if you have done something particularly well, rather than an automated email response from Core.

Can we have pilot feedback too? (for flights within the UK) - sorry, didn't read the post fully - look forward to it coming soon!

Evening all,

Pilot Feedback has now been launched! You can access the feedback form in the same way as shown above, the tab name is now ''Controller/Pilot Feedback.''

Thanks,
