Vacancy - Member Services Assistant
We are looking to expand the Member Services team and are opening applications for a Member Services Assistant.
Role Description
The Member Services Department is responsible for providing a professional front-line service to current and prospective UK members, operating in a similar manner to a customer services team. We aim to be an accessible team, such that all members can come to us for help and guidance, allowing other teams to focus on their core activities such as delivering training, writing code or creating documentation.
This position will require working closely with multiple departments, to support the wider activities of the Division.
Responsibilities
Member Services Assistants are responsible for:
- Providing frontline support to members with most general queries. This includes basic queries regarding Training and Technology with a view to expand to further departments.
- Facilitating the Visiting and Transferring process in the Division
- Supporting administrative activities across the Division (E.g. managing training waiting lists)
- Developing new and existing Member Services workflows and projects
- Maintaining active communication with department members and attending team meetings as necessary.
The preferred candidate would have:
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A professional demeanour and a friendly, approachable attitude
- Excellent attention to detail, with a high level of English writing ability
The successful candidate must:
- Be a full VATSIM UK Division member in good standing.
- Have the availability to answer emails and tickets along with dedicating the required time to fulfil the duties of the role.
- Whilst the overall time commitment required is low, candidates must ensure they constantly engage in regular checks and their responsiveness is high.
