As 2020 draws to a close (a year many of us will be happy to see the back of) we have spent some time reflecting on recent achievements and saying thank you to the important contibutors within the division (You can find here the end of year messages from Training and Marketing).

Both on and off the network, there have been many challenges which we have not always been in control of or predicted. Thanks to the hard work of hundreds of volunteers the division continues to grow and rise to meet these challenges.

In 2021, the division will nuture our burgoening departments of member services and operations, while continuing to utilise the resources in the web, training and marketing teams to best effect. Among other things, we have our eyes set on substantially improving the welcome experience that members recieve in the first days and weeks as a member of our division and we expect to roll out a new programme of activities which aims to help with that during the early part of 2021. We also will overhaul the visiting and transferring controller procedures.

Whatever your role in the division, whether as a staff member, volunteer or participant in the network as a controller or pilot, thank you for the time you have spent contributing to the division in 2020.

We wish every one of you the very best Christmas that is possible in these times and for a happy and prosperous 2021.
