Hi all,

We are now recruiting for a new Training Group Instructor for TG1.

General Tasks:

  • Have overall responsibility for training within their designated training group;
  • Select and train new mentors;
  • Review ATC feedback;
  • Maintain training standards in their designated training group (inc. by ‘sitting in’ on mentoring sessions & exams);
  • Organise group seminars as appropriate;
  • Issue SxVs;
  • Review student progress and when necessary forward students for examination;
  • Issue training places to students;
  • Are the point of contact for mentors within their designated training group;
  • Maintain eLearning courses content associated with their designated training group.

The candidate must:

  • Hold an S3 rating (due to the minimum requirement of an S3 to receive an I1 rating);
  • Have experience mentoring within the division;
  • Be a home member of VATSIM UK [or able to transfer to the UK division as a home member];
  • Be a member in good standing.

In the near future we expect that this Instructor will transition over to focusing primarily on S2 training - please bear this in mind when applying for the position.

By default, this application will be considered as an expression of interest for both of our current TGI vacancies. Please specify if you only wish to be considered for one of the positions.

Those who are interested should send their application to jobs[at]vatsim.uk.

Applications will close on 10/05/2020 at 22:59z.

Thanks,

Dan ✈️
