I want to thank everyone who has helped the Division this year whether it be flying in for an exam, mentoring, helping with sector files, document writing, staff roles, the list goes on.  You have all had a part in making this a great year for the Division.

2019 was another great year for the Division with more training, some great events and fantastic member engagement meaning that documentation and sector files were up to date and we were at the forefront of the testing for Audio for Vatsim. Our web team worked wonders in keeping us online for 365 days as well as designing some exciting features for 2020.

I also have some news for you on a personal front.  You may have seen today that I have been appointed as Region Director for VATSIM Europe and will be taking over from Apos.  This means that I will be stepping down as Division Director in the New Year.   I have loved the past 4 years and Id like to thank everyone who has contributed to making VATSIM UK the best Division on the network, we are in the position we are because of you.  There are a few people I would like to personally thank for their support including  @Nathan Donnelly @Chris Pawley @Daniel Crookes @Calum Towers @Loui Ringer @Barrie Joplin @Sam James @Andy Ford @Alex Beard and @Layth Al-Wakil, all of these people made my job less stressful (except Calum at times :D)

I will be announcing the application process for the new Division Director in the new year.
