Hi all,

There’ve been a few staff changes over the past few months.

Thanks to:
•    @Fraser Cooper for his work as TGI in TG1;
•    @Tom Szczypinski for his work as a TGM in TGNC;
•    @Tom Knowles for his work as IFR Flight Instructor;
•    @James Gibson for his work as Development Flight Instructor.

And welcome to:
•    @Oliver Gates, who’s joining the team as a TGI for TG1 – he’ll be working with Nathan to develop the mentoring team in TG1 (a TGI for TG2 will be coming shortly);
•    @Fergus Walsh, who’s joining the ATC team as TGM for TGNC – he’ll be working with @Josh Howker, who will have a slight role change to become TGI for TGNC, to maintain the regulated flow of new controllers into the division;
•    @James Edwards, who’s joining the Pilot team as a Development Flight Instructor to continue to work on our FTE's and assist with our flight training courses.

We felt that one big update was better than bombarding the forum with posts of resignations and appointments, so here you have it!

Hi

While I congratulate the successful individuals, can I ask why the position of TGM for NC was not advertised? I'm sure there are quite a few people who would've liked to have had the opportunity to apply.

Regards

I mean, who wants to work with @Josh Howker anyway? ?‍♂️

Besides, congrats everyone and also thanks for their 'dedicated service' (sounds like someone just left the army). However, @James Gibson  - didn't know you were a staff member? ?

Most roles are put out to applications, however, sometimes circumstances present themselves where it makes sense for us to appoint someone without applications. Anyone who would have been interested or would like to get more involved please do drop @Oliver Rhodes a message and we will always try and make something work! ✈️
