Example Theory Questions

We have published a selection of example theory questions for all levels of ATC examination in the UK. These questions are intended to give exam candidates an idea of the sort of things that they might be asked by the examiner after completing the practical aspect of the exam and the level of detail they need to read into.

These questions are provided without answers. It is intended that students will do the necessary reading in their own time to understand the subject matter and become confident in asking these types of questions, as per our recent drive towards self-learning. It is also more beneficial to the student if they find out this information themselves, than simply rehearsing the answers given to them by the division or a member - examiners will not simply be regurgitating these questions - they are examples only. Think of it as a mock exam in education - where the questions don't tell you what's on the exam, but give you an idea of what the examiners might be looking for.

The document is available for download in the downloads section.
