Why has a mid summer date been chosen again? We RW bods struggle to get leave as it's peak season, and thus cannot attend. On top of this, it tends to clash with things like holidays as its the first week of school holidays. And then, it's generally decent weather so people don't want to be cooped up indoors. 

I thought this was all fed back from last year? I don't want to detract from what is obviously a difficult event to organise, but if Aston aren't willing to be flexible on dates, then why aren't we looking at another venue?

Won't be able to make it due to the reasons listed above...

I'll hopefully be a MSM XII. Its a shame there's a clash, but hopefully it can be resolved?

I won't be coming this year, but I'll probably control somewhere! If I can make it, will there be a Mil desk? ;)

It certainly wasn't the point; I presume that this was the most viable weekend in terms of cost and availability of the organisers.

Have to agree with James, the dates are peak season for us in the RW Industry. 

Trying to get the dates off even if we wanted to is problematic as the announcement falls after roster cut off dates for early August. 

Will this be getting any form of advertising on .net (forum/website), or on CTS calendar perhaps? ?
