2023-03-23 - Manchester TMA (CC/GP/NR) - STAR and Airspace Changes

Effective 23 March 2023

As part of the West Airspace Deployment that introduces systemised routes below FL245, STARs for inbounds to Manchester (EGCC) and Liverpool (EGGP)/Hawarden (EGNR) are amended. The NITON CTA is also renamed the PEPZE CTA but there are no significant changes to the vertical or lateral definition of the CTA within MPC airspace.

The OKTEM 1L is reoriented to begin at a new fix, PEPZE, becoming the PEPZE 1L.

Manchester (EGCC) STARs

The OKTEM 1M is reoriented to begin at a new fix, AXCIS, becoming the AXCIS 1M.

PEPZE CTA (Previously the NITON CTA)

Due to the removal of the fix NITON, the CTAs in the KEGUN area and extending into West airspace have been renamed PEPZE CTA. However, the dimensions of CTAs 1-6 are unchanged.

The Manchester documentation will be updated with these changes.
