Lawrence Donnelly Posted August 12, 2020 Share Posted August 12, 2020 Hi all, When following the steps on the vatuk site to install the uk controller plugin, all is fine up until I press 'load' to load the plugin, get the error message "Exception thrown when bootstrapping UKCP. Contact web services" followed by another "EuroscopePlugInInit function caused an exception in [file directory]". According to the install steps, it should "then ask you to find the key file that you downloaded in Step Two." Which it does not. Any help would be appreciated, got my OBS pt1 tomorrow and probably should've done this sooner. Thanks Lawrence Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Andy Ford Posted August 12, 2020 Share Posted August 12, 2020 Hi Lawrence, The error you experienced is caused by anti virus programs stopping UKCP from opening its logfile. You can prevent this by adding the EuroScope/ukcp folder in My Documents to the antivirus exception folders. The prompt to provide your key file will appear once the previous error is fixed. Thanks!
