A new STAR for London/Heathrow inbounds is introduced on the above date. This procedure begins at a new fix - FITBO (located West of Birmingham). This STAR allows aircraft to shorten their flight by utilising a piece of new controlled airspace between Birmingham and Bristol and saves re-routing aircraft inbound to OCK via the stack swap STAR. In the real world, the airway inbound to FITBO is a CDR3, so is used tactically by ATC to reroute aircraft and cannot be filed by operators.

This procedure and relevant intra-sector agreements are included in the 2019/12 version of the sector file; other documents will be updated in due course.
