Dear All

It is once again that time of the year!

The clocks will advance one hour at 1am Sunday 25th March for the start of BST.  This means we effectively lose 1am altogether as it immediately becomes 2am and therefore we shall also become bereft of that extra sleep we were all enjoying.

You will need to apply the following logic when making bookings or entering in availability for sessions:

18:00z = 7pm (BST) local
00:00z = 1am (BST) local

Please if we can all provide assistance to George Wright whenever possible during this difficult period, so that he may understand what is going on and not try to eat his own foot again.

Many thanks
Barrie

And the bi-annual (twice a year, as it could mean two things :D) George Wright joke still lives on!!!

biannual = twice in each year

semi-annual = twice in each year

biennial = once every two years

      Dear All
At 2am on Sunday 29th Oct, the clocks will revert back to GMT - so 2am will immediately become 1am.
      What does this mean?
You get the hour in bed back that was stolen in the spring; George Wright will be stuck in an infinite loop of the Macarena until spring ; AND MOST IMPORTANTLY - all of your availability in the CT system will need to reflect GMT from the above date/time: 18:30z is now 6.30pm local
      19:30z = 7.30pm local
      21:30z = 9.30pm local
      12:00z = 12pm (midday local)
      00:00z = 12am (midnight local)
      Many thanks

      Dear All
Please note that the clocks will advance one hour at 1am Sunday 26th March for the start of BST.  This means we effectively lose 1am altogether as it immediately becomes 2am and therefore also become bereft of that extra sleep we were all enjoying   .

[Insert amusing comment about George Wright not understanding what is going on here]
      Many thanks
