There will be an exam on Edinburgh Tower (EGPH_TWR) on Thursday 18th April 2024, commencing at 1700z. The exam is expected to last 90 minutes but the exam may end earlier/later, depending on whether the competencies have been sufficiently assessed. A good number of IFR outbounds as well as some IFR inbounds/VFR are essential to making this exam a success. Please, no funny business without first speaking to EGPH_X_TWR. Pilots wishing to fly to ensure that they are familiar with the pilot guidance for ATC exams. Good luck to the candidate!

Hello all, There will be an Edinburgh Radar approach exam on Friday 19th April from 1100z. The exam will last approximately 90 mins. We will require a good amount of IFR inbounds with a few VFR aircraft to asses all competencies of the exam criteria. For pilots, please see the 'Guidance for Pilots' post below. If you plan on doing anything 'out of the ordinary', please check with myself on EGPH_X_APP before hand.
